The Winqvist Clan has been summoned for an autumn gathering in Vaasa. This time they have called upon to challenge the masters of indoor frisbee at the renowned NSUT-tournament.
The clan has spent countless squirrel skins and trained multiple carrier pigeons to acquire reinforcements close and far. A couple brave and resilient message carriers even returned from the British isles with good news.
The Winqvist Clan also vows for honoring the traditions and joining the festivities at the favoured sauna, lodge or watering hole...and most importantly, the breakfast table.
Okko: Extremely skilled at throwing round plastic in every form. The only things more impressive than his overall discus ability might be the cooking skills and the bottomless stomach he has. You might spot this clan member slowing the traffic down on Kehä III while cruising with a tractor.
Elena: Multiple years of competing with the rest of the clan has made her a confident player who'll dominate the field with her zippy moves. Even though she has a competitive flame on the field she still is a fan of cozy nights with hot tea and knittingwork. This clan member was in consequential role of recruiting allies to join the clan with her funny charm and impressive linguistics.
Leevi: The tallest clan member who usually is only mentioned in folk tales and rumors. Luckily the intricate ghost shaped smoke signals sent from the watchtower reached him and he agreed to join this special gathering along with the rest of the clan. You can find this legend at the dinner table or a place where you can lift heavy objects!
Ilja: The eldest, founding member of the clan and everyday everywhere party figure. For the past few years he has been travelling the world seeking experience and wisdom from other frisbee clans. Doesn't shy away from lay outs or tequila. #last man (not) standing.
Nooa: One year ago he used to be the most convincing doppelganger of the Temptation Island -host Sami Kuronen. The beautiful surfer's hair is now long gone but the muscles are not, some me say he hasn't skipped a chest day in months! You might not believe this but he's actually the youngest of all Winqvist clan's members.
Mel: The first recruitment from across the pond. Her vocab is truly memorable as it is 2 words of 'that's crazy' but don't let her words fool you...Hurricane Milton ain't go nothing on her as she will run you round in circles due to her pure speed, chaos and godly grabs on court. A true veteran of the game, with honed craft from the city of Boston, the Winqvist Clan have struck gold on pitch and off with an unbelievable ability to nap anywhere when not playing.
Jossu: Jossu is an ally for the clan from the northern lands of Oulu and became familiar with the clan after moving near their home village. She might seem kind and nice to onlookers but on the field is a fierce and ruthless warrior ready to join the autumn gathering and aid the clan in their efforts to conquer the city of Vaasa.
Juma: We apologize to all the residents of Helsinki because we are confident that they will be able to hear our next player all the way from Vaasa. In addition to being the most sociable person in the whole world, Juma is an endzone merchant with ridiculous hops and grabs. Is he more excited for the frisbee or the sauna? It’s unclear— but we guarantee every time he gets on the disc the entire sideline will be shouting “Ui Juma!”
Simo: A wise individual from one of the neighboring tribes who been a great ally for the Winqvist Clan in many adventures during the past years. In the epic he is usually referred to as a tech shaman who has mastered the ability to alter inconceivable scripts and create autonomous beings to do his bidding.
